Pureprint widens capabilities with a Fujifilm Acuity Ultra R2

Pureprint widens capabilities with a Fujifilm Acuity Ultra R2.

Pureprint continues to invest in its large format Newcastle site, broadening its product range to satisfy the growing demand shown by Retail, OOH and Events clients.

Expanding the state-of-the-art facility, the ‘in-store’ Group is now targeting growth ‘out store’, as clients look to the business to provide more products in large format roll to roll outdoor display.

Dave Bullivant, Pureprint Imprint MD comments, ‘In investing in first class expertise in roll- to-roll manufacturing and sustainability, we are listening to our customers. We recognise there’s an opportunity to do things better in this space, provide more choice to the market and deliver the service and support our customers deserve and we are proud that the Newcastle Upon Tyne site was chosen for this major investment’. He adds ‘This further reinforces the Group’s strategy that ‘diversity drives success’.

The investment is mainly focused on the UK’s first installation of Fujifilm’s new Acuity Ultra R2, 5 metre press but also includes significant spend in supporting finishing processes including the Plastgrommet ‘All in one’ automated banner finishing line, purchased by the Group at this year’s Fespa.

In addition to the Fuji R2 investment, Pureprint are delighted to announce the appointment of James Morris, who many will know from his time as joint MD of Gardeners, as Divisional Director for Roll 2 Roll. James brings with him over 25 years of digital wide format experience specialising in applications for the Retail, OOH, Event and Stadia sectors.

James commented 'It is great to have the opportunity to join such an ambitious and well regarded business as the Pureprint Group. It is built on a clear strategy for growth, an unrivalled record for the environment and a reputation for excellence in client service'.
