Launched in 2018, Vism provides a project management software system specifically designed and built for the signage, graphics and installation industry. With several key customer installations already implemented in the UK, including Macroart and VGL, Vism is presenting its product to the broader signage and digital graphics industry at Sign & Digital 2019.
The Vism Project Management platform has been developed to handle the specific procedural, operational and business management requirements of graphics production and signage companies. Vism provides a familiar and intuitive interface that speaks the language of people and companies in the sign and graphics market.
Dan Tyler, Founder and Managing Director of Vism, explains, “The size, scale and complexity of managing several entirely disparate installations at once presents a considerable challenge for sign and graphics production companies. Vism is designed to be structured enough to help you maintain control, communication and consistency, but is flexible enough to let you mould it to your own needs.”
He continues, “We were very keen to be at Sign & Digital because this is an excellent opportunity to present our unique proposition directly to the sign and visual communications industry. We are looking forward to sharing the key time and cost saving benefits of our system to visitors and showing them how we can drive increased productivity, efficiency and profitability for their businesses.”
Michael Green, Managing Director at one of Vism's customers, Macroart, says, “One of the things we really like about Vism is the simplicity of it. It does what you want it to and saves you a huge amount of time in the process. The features they keep adding mean we have something that really is built for our industry. It has enabled us to work in a more streamlined and efficient way – this clearly passes on a benefit to our customers.”
Vism was specifically designed to manage field-based projects. It has been tested and developed in collaboration with industry leaders across the graphics, signage and installations space. Installers can access layouts, briefs, contact information and travel details before they arrive on-site. Digital sign-off and instant photo upload ensure everyone is kept up to date.
“We have demonstrated repeatedly that Vism can help companies cut the admin time of installations by 50% or more, which immediately results in increased profitability,” says Tyler. He concludes, “The system provides the structure required to have an immediate and positive impact on the entire project management process, while maintaining the flexibility to suit individual operational requirements. We look forward to the opportunity to talk to the industry about this in more detail at Sign & “Digital.”
Dan Tyler will also be presenting in the Print Workflow Seminar on the main stage at Sign & Digital on Thursday 4th April at 1pm. Vism will be on Stand M17, next to the Sign Workshop.
