Antalis brought an après ski feel to this year’s Sign & Digital UK event by welcoming visitors to a stunning Alpine inspired stand showcasing some of the latest media trends, hardware capabilities and training solutions. Its objective was to help UK and global signmaking, display and digital businesses gain an appreciation of what Antalis can offer and how printed media can be effectively and creatively used.
Visitors to the stand were able to see real examples of ingenuity as the stand itself was constructed of realistic wood-effect printed panelling with robust log-style seating – all made using Xanita Board, launched by Antalis earlier this year. People were particularly attracted to this sustainable fibre-board manufactured from fibres recovered from recycled cardboard boxes. Xanita Board is a lightweight and robust board suitable for a wealth of sectors and applications including retail, exhibitions and events, hospitality and interior design.
Other product exclusives unveiled at the show included the latest Coala Textiles range; a collection of printable textiles for signage and decoration and a further environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional PVC. Together with the existing Coala Walldesign range, the complete portfolio of textiles and wallcoverings will enable printers looking for diversification avenues to capitalise on this ongoing opportunity in the interior design market.
In addition to these new products, there was also a ‘sneak preview’ of Antalis’ new SUBSTR8 product selector tool, which has been designed to simplify the specification process by breaking down substrate solutions by attribute and application.
Antalis’ ‘Décor Live’ demos were a popular attraction at the show demonstrating how vinyl, wallcovering and magnetic applications within a retail and hotel environment can effectively transform a blank canvas to a personalised, impactful space.
For visitors seeking to invest in hardware, Antalis’ leading hardware partners, Revolution Digital, Granthams, Agfa and Atech, were present to offer their expertise and help with tailored solutions to meet any specific requirements.
Chris Green, Head of Channel for Visual Communications at Antalis comments: “We used Sign & Digital UK to highlight innovation and creative thinking around what’s next for the industry. This year’s show was a great opportunity for visitors to gain insight on the latest products and techniques and it enabled us to run ‘taster sessions’ of our most popular Antalis Academy training workshops. We are delighted with the positive response we received as our guests embraced not only our wide range of media, hardware, products and services, but also how Anatlis is ideally positioned as a solutions provider and partner to inspire them to achieve greater vision.”
