Roland Heroes assemble – with more invited to join

The Roland Hero website features many more – AO Design in Germany, E-Styl' in France, The Binary Box in the UK, Peñalver in Spain and Stampa Italiana in Italy are just a few – all doing exceptional things with their Roland systems.

Roland DG has already discovered many Roland Heroes, with more to be revealed as the search for the most incredible Roland users continues.

The Roland Hero Awards celebrate the people and ideas that make the vibrant, supportive and exciting Roland community what it is. Launched in April, the campaign shines a spotlight on the entrepreneurship, creativity and passion that in turn drive the innovations of Roland. Customers from across EMEA have been sharing their stories, and in return have been listed on the Roland Hero online roll of honour, with the overall winner to be rewarded with an unforgettable holiday.

Recently, Roland announced that it has extended the deadline for entries to December 31st 2018, to allow Roland users more time to share their fascinating stories.

"We've been so impressed and inspired by the Roland customers who already got involved that we simply wanted to hear more," says Gillian Montanaro, Head of Marketing EMEA at Roland DG. "We are excited to tell the world about them and their stories, and we look forward to crowning the overall winner of the Roland Hero Awards in January."

Customers already nominated Roland Heroes span multiple markets, including signage and display. The search has uncovered Eastprint, a German advertising business that truly puts its trust in the Roland systems, running five Roland SOLJET printers to deliver everything they need, when they need it.

Roland Heroes in the sports industry have also shared their stories. Lieuwe Boards is a Dutch kite surfboard specialist that uses Roland VersaSTUDIO BN-20 technology to print custom graphics strong enough to withstand serious waves. In the Canary Islands, In Your Face is proud to have developed a successful graphics business for the sailing market, relying on Roland’s popular and versatile integrated print and cut technology from the very beginning. Also in Spain is Taymory, a company that designed an incredible swimwear collection with synchronised swimming champion Ona Carbonell, using a Roland Texart RT-640.
