Roland celebrate positive customer reactions at Sign UK

Brett Jerry Roland

Roland DG today celebrates customer reactions at Sign & Digital UK 2017, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response to the latest technology, software solutions and services on display. The Roland DG stand boasted the latest hardware, with the TrueVIS VG-640 and SG-300 printer/cutters, the CAMM-1 GR-640 cutter and the VersaUV LEF Series of flatbed UV printers on display.

Roland DG also highlighted the services provided to their customers through the Roland DG Academy and RolandCare, and innovative software solutions - providing added-value, training and technical support to help customers get the most out of their investment.

Heralding the new dawn of cloud-based design services to support the sign and graphics industries, on display for the first time in Europe was Creative Media Maker from InClix, a subsidiary of Roland DG. The easy-to-use system provides easy to use design software, high-quality imagery via image banks, an integrated soft-proofing management system, and output which can easily be sent directly through the cloud to Roland DG technology to go straight into production. Visitors to the stand were impressed by the simplicity and effectiveness of the tool, and were invited to participate in the BETA pilot programme*; with 90 days free of charge access in exchange for feedback to assist with further development. Differentiating Roland DG from their competitors as the only RIP technology designed and built by the manufacturer; demonstrations on the advanced Roland VersaWorks Dual RIP software were provided throughout the show. Included with print or print and cut purchases, saving customers thousands of pounds, VersaWorks Dual is also now available as a free of charge upgrade for owners of Roland DG’s current product line up**. Also on display was the latest version of Roland PrintStudio, the RIP for Mac OS. With inbuilt ICC profiling tools, and advanced options for automation and template driven tiling, the RIP is ideal for businesses with demanding requirements.

Brett Newman of Roland DG UK says: “It is well known that Roland DG offers more than just high-quality print solutions, and this was clearly reinforced at Sign & Digital UK 2017 – from packaged RIP technology, Roland DG Academy training, RolandCare technical support and warranty services, and now Creative Media Maker from InClix, the cloud-based design and workflow solution.”

“I want to take this opportunity to thank our customers who visited the Roland DG stand. There is nothing better or more credible than loyal customers returning time and time-again, or meeting new customers who learn of Roland DG through reputation, all wanting to invest in the latest Roland DG products. We are hugely proud of these relationships and the Roland DG products that inspire them.”
