Roland DG is welcoming the graphics community to an open event, where they can put UV printing to the test with their own choice of unusual object or material.
Taking place at the Roland Creative Centre in Clevedon on July 18th, the Better Business Bootcamp is designed for print professionals who want to explore the profit-making possibilities of Roland’s headline UV printing solution, the VersaUV LEF series.
The LEF range is used by creative professionals across the world to print directly to a wide array of substrates in a variety of markets. Using these UV-LED benchtop systems, it's easy to print graphics, text and photographs in vibrant colours and sharp monochromes, and to add glossy highlights, to almost any surface. Roland ECO-UV gloss inks can also be printed in layers to produce genuine textures, raised text and special effects.
As these applications are practically unlimited, Roland's Better Business Bootcamp will start with an open discussion about what attendees want to print – with the Roland team expecting plenty of unusual ideas. This will be followed by practical hands-on training sessions and an informative seminar on how to make serious money from UV printing. Visitors will also get inspiration from Roland's Creative Centre, see the VersaUV printers in action and watch their own samples come to life.
The Better Business Bootcamp follows the FESPA Global Print Expo in May 2019, where Giovanni Re, Community Manager at Roland DG Mid Europe, tasked the crowds with the 'Is it Real or Printed?' challenge. Visitors found it almost impossible to tell the difference between the real oil paintings, ceramic tiles and leather bags and those which had been printed using the Roland LEF – a genuine 'wow' moment for anyone brave enough to take the challenge. More PSPs, retailers, sign makers, engravers and entrepreneurs can now put VersaUV LEF through its paces at the bootcamp and be amazed by what UV printing can do for their business.
VersaUV LEF printers are used with stunning effect on a huge diversity of applications. Users have created one-of-a-kind designs on wooden furniture, delivered production runs of personal-ised golf balls, produced tactile and colourful acrylic signage, printed accurate industrial proto-types, built businesses selling customised accessories, gifts and electronics – and much more. If you have a creative idea, you can bring it to life with Roland UV.
A light lunch will be provided at the open day and every attendee will go home with a goody bag. To book a place at the Better Business Bootcamp on July 18th, 2019, please click here.
