Ricoh has released a new video offering an insight into the core benefits and key features of the Ricoh Ri 2000 Direct to Garment (DTG) Printer.
Available in the UK from March 2021, the Ricoh Ri 2000 has been designed to make professional, high quality printing faster and easier for personalised garments and other fabric accessories, with users benefitting from excellent output quality on both light and dark materials.
Capable of high-volume results, the printer is an effective option for businesses that offer short and long job runs. The Ricoh Ri 2000 has a maximum printable area of 406mm x 498mm and can handle 100% cotton, cotton blends with at least 50% cotton, and 100% light polyester up to 30mm thick.
This flexibility allows users to print virtually any digital image on products including T-shirts, polo shirts, face masks, hoodies, tote bags, cushion covers and many other garments and fabric accessories - all in high resolution prints up to 1200 x 1200 dpi.
The Ricoh Ri 2000 also delivers exceptionally fast print speeds, thanks to its dual-carriage system, each containing four of Ricoh's own inkjet print heads. One of these carriages is allocated to print white, while the second carriage prints CMYK colours. This setup means users can produce printed products in ‘speed mode' in just 33 seconds, or in 48 seconds when selecting the ‘fine mode' option.
