Suppliers trade organisation PICON has announced that it will attend The Print Show at the NEC which runs from 18-20 September. Some 16 PICON members have already booked stands at the show and a 17th is attending to support a partner company.
Bettine Pellant, CEO of PICON, says: “Supporting members at trade shows is an important part of our service. Since its launch in 2015 The Print Show has grown and flourished, covering traditional and new technologies, and we feel the time is right to give it our support. Our stand (D30) will be a hospitality lounge where members exhibiting or visiting can rest, recuperate and network.”
PICON, The Printing Industries Confederation, represents suppliers of printing machinery and paper machinery manufacturers and converters. Later this year the organisation will celebrate its 100th anniversary, a landmark it has achieved by remaining relevant and proactive. It provides a valuable networking resource but also adds value through the trade information it provides, its lobbying work and export and exhibition support.
Bettine Pellant and her colleague Cathy Haywood will be on stand to welcome visitors to the stand.
“PICON would like to increase its presence at trade shows when we can see a real opportunity to offer effective support for our members,” says Mrs Pellant. “We will run a UK Pavilion at Drupa in 2020 (16-26 June) and we continue to help promote our members elsewhere when there are promising home or export sales opportunities.”
