Vism and FESPA UK have announced that the inaugural UK Graphic Awards will now take place on Tuesday 2nd February 2021.
The event, and it’s daytime Thrive in Print conference, which will also move to the same day, will both take place at the original venue, Oulton Hall in Leeds.
Announcing the changes, the duo also said they’d work closely with those attending to ensure that the conference was a day filled with highly valuable content by understanding and focussing on the topics that will be most important to them going into the new year.
Dan Tyler, Director at Vism, commented “these awards were always designed to be a hugely positive experience for all involved, and the new date provides a great opportunity for the industry to come together with a sense of determination and excitement for the year ahead. We’re lucky to have such fantastic sponsors that have all backed this decision and we can’t wait to bring everyone together in February”.
Carol Swift, Director at FESPA UK, highlighted the support the event has received from it’s sponsors, saying that “we’re incredibly lucky to be working with such brilliant sponsors, and we’re looking forward to collaborating with them over the next few months to give the industry the party it will deserve come the new year”.
With some fantastic entries having already come in, these will remain valid, and the dates for entries and judging have been extended.
Projects completed between 1st July 2019 and 30th November 2020 will be eligible for entry, and the entry deadline has been extended to Friday 4th December.
Entry is free of charge and winners will be supported in capitalising on their accolade to drive new business right through 2021 and beyond.
