2020 has seen a number of new appointments at YPS with Consumables Specialist Lauren Parker being appointed Epson Business Development Manager.
Lauren is your first port of call for ink and media consumables at YPS so expanding this role to include hardware was the next logical step.

Your Print Specialists became an Epson reseller for their dye Sublimation range in early 2020. A huge increase in sales for the SC-F500 A3 dye sublimation printer saw the need for an Epson Specialist. We sat down with Lauren to discuss her new role within YPS.

Congratulations on the new role Lauren! What are you looking forward to as Epson Business Development Manager?

“In this new role, I hope to be able to give customers the information and support they require in order to take the next step into setting up their own business or also creating a new revenue stream for their current business."

Lauren continues, “Recently, due to lockdown and people working from home for a second income, we have seen a huge increase in sales for the Epson SC-F500 as these are a great entry level machine. It has allowed creators to get their foot in the door with print and I love seeing what our customers produce with these machines.”

What is your main objective as Epson Business Development Manager?

“I want to ensure that our customers are getting the most from their Epson machine, whether they purchase a printer only or the YPS Business in a Box bundle. I will be the first point of contact for all enquiries and questions people may have. At YPS, it is not just about selling machines, it is about supporting our customers for the lifetime of their business and helping them grow.”

Epson has made it easy for innovators and creators to take the plunge into starting up their own business. The personalised gift market is especially huge at the moment and showing no signs of slowing down. Have you seen an increase in the number of customers approaching print for the first time?

“This market has created a fantastic opportunity for people to either take the first step into print or a side step to enhance their business. There has been huge demand for the Epson entry level machine, the SC-F500, with demand currently outstripping supply. December will see the launch of the Epson SC-F100, a groundbreaking A4 dye sublimation printer with a low cost of ownership and at a very attractive price point. Its an exciting time for the dye sublimation sector and I can't wait to bring this fantastic addition to the Epson range to our customers.”
