Nazdar Ink Technologies, the leading manufacturer of UV, water-based and solvent-based wide-format digital inkjet, screen-printing and flexographic ink products, is delighted to announce the launch of Nazdar 2131 Series Solvent Inkjet inks.
Available throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the Nazdar 2131 Series inks have been designed specifically as a direct replacement for Mutoh Eco-Ultra or MS31 ink sets and can be used in Mutoh ValueJet digital printers.
The ink is colour matched to the OEM inks, avoiding the need for custom profiles in most situations, and meaning that no flushing is required when changing over to Nazdar 2131 Series inks. Customers can seamlessly change over one ink at a time, or all colours at once.
Nazdar 2131 Series inks have a low odour formulation and deliver consistent and reliable print performance – even at high operating speeds. They can be used on a wide range of substrates for both indoor and outdoor applications including self-adhesive, flexible and pressure sensitive media, as well as banner materials, blue back paper and backed mesh.
The inks have been designed for maximum outdoor resistance to colour fade and chemical attack caused by the combined effects of UV degradation and environmental pollution. When used with proper colour management, colour variance of the original print density will be minimal over a period of 24 months for vertical outdoor exposure.
On the launch of the new inks, Stephen Woodall, Market Segment Manager - Aqueous & Solvent Digital at Nazdar, says: “The Nazdar 2131 Series Solvent Inkjet inks offer the ideal alternative to Mutoh Eco-Ultra or MS31 ink-sets, allowing Mutoh printer users to produce high impact and high intensity graphics for both indoor and outdoor applications.
“Users typically save up to 30% on ink costs when switching to Nazdar inks, without compromising on the quality of output. Furthermore, all Nazdar inks are backed by the best warranty in the business, covering the entire ink train.
“As with many Nazdar inks, the 2131 Series are ‘plug & play,’ meaning users simply swap out with Nazdar ink as the old OEM ink runs out. No profile changes are required, as the inks are chemically compatible with the original ink set and provide the same top-quality colour performance.”
