Expo Already Generating Buzz Among the Mailing Community
The mailing community is enthusiastic about reuniting under one roof following the hiatus of in-person events. Here’s what some participating in the event are saying:
“After the long absence of any in-person event, IPMA and I are thrilled to partner with PRINTING United this October in Orlando. We can’t wait to see our in-plant colleagues and our business partners all in one venue. It’s time for our industry and the country to get back to some sort of normalcy and PRINTING United offers the perfect opportunity to start that process with a bang. I hope to see everyone there.”
— Mike Loyd, executive director, IPMA
“There is definitely a lot of excitement and anticipation ahead of this year’s PRINTING United event. It has been a long time since we have all seen each other in person and I, for one, can’t wait. We look forward to being a strong part of the print-to-mail industry finally getting the chance to get back together.”
— Ken Waddell, publisher, Mailing Systems Technology media
“PRINTING United 2019 was a successful show for MBO America, and we enjoyed the new format of having all markets together on the same show floor. We were especially impressed with the large number of companies from the commercial print industry that attended the show, which is a strong target market for us. We are excited that PRINTING United 2021 will be the first trade show where Komori America and MBO America will be together as one company. We see it as the perfect opportunity to showcase our combined technology portfolio of high-performing offset, digital print, and finishing solutions with our new parent Komori. While we are grateful that virtual events kept us going in 2020, we could not be more thrilled to be back to attending live events, which are undoubtedly the most lucrative for our customers and industry as a whole.”
— Lance Martin, VP marketing, MBO America and Komori America
“The U.S. mailing industry, the largest in the world, needs an event where commercial printers, mailing service providers, and the industry’s leading mailing associations can gather with national brands, marketing agencies, [and] local mailing campaign buyers from all market segments. Advances in mail print and finishing technologies are opening new opti-channel doors for mailing application revenue and W+D wants to contribute towards building a national forum to explore the opportunities available.
“PRINTING United Alliance and NAPCO Media have accepted the challenge of creating a stakeholder meeting hub for an industry-wide exchange of ideas, issues, and market trends impacting postal print and paper-based communications. W+D applauds their initiative and fully supports their efforts. We encourage others in the industry to help build PRINTING United into not only a premier mailing technology event, but a thriving mailing community.”
— Andrew Schipke, VP, marketing and strategic sales, W+D
"The industry is looking forward to the upcoming PRINTING United in Orlando. Everyone I have spoken to is looking forward to being together again and believe it is shaping up to be a great event."
— Skip Henk, president/CEO, Xplor
