Labelprint24, the specialist high-tech online print provider for product labelling and packaging solutions, has invested in two Fujifilm digital print solutions: the Jet Press 750S High Speed Model, the first Jet Press installation globally to feature the recently introduced high-capacity option which has increased feed and delivery stack heights, and the Revoria Press PC1120.
In combination, this dual investment will expand Labelprint24’s service offering, increase in-house production capacity and speed up turnaround times for its customers.
A subsidiary business of All4Labels, one of the world’s leading label companies and a pioneer in sustainable and digital packaging solutions, Labelprint24 gives customers online access to design and print a wide range of flexible packaging products via its specially developed software and state-of-the-art production processes.
Over the years, the company has built an enviable reputation among its client base in the chemical, pharmaceutical, healthcare and food sectors, for delivering creative packaging solutions. These range from simple and multi-layer labels, flexible pouches and folding cartons in cost-effective small-scale batches, medium runs as well as major high volume orders.
The recently installed Jet Press 750S at Labelprint24 includes an increased feed and delivery stack height option, which has already brought productivity benefits to the operation. Labelprint24 is the first company in the world to take advantage of this new feature, which was first announced in late 2022. The additional 300mm stack height represents a 37% capacity increase.
Explains Roman Kasper, Management Assistant at Labelprint24, “Although it is still early days, we are very happy with the quality and consistency of output from the Jet Press which demands less maintenance, gives us 24/7 production capability and the flexibility to offer ultra-short run jobs for specialist one-offs or prototypes, as well as larger volume orders, quickly and cost-effectively.
“In addition, the increased height of the stacker enables us to place a whole pallet directly onto the stacker, rather than manually feeding the substrate into the machine, so this will not only save time and labour costs, it will speed up production and delivery times. We also anticipate that the Jet Press will allow us to achieve a more cost efficient price point when printing smaller volumes of colour; savings that we can potentially pass on to the customer.”
Installation of the new Fujifilm Revoria Press PC1120 is in progress, and will enable Labelprint24 to offer its customers an even wider choice of media and a host of new colours, varnishes, metallic embellishments and special effect finishes, including gold, silver, white and pink.
The award-winning Revoria Press PC1120 offers up to 10 colours, easily configurable in six channels for one pass, high quality output at speeds of 120ppm on a wide variety of substrate types.
Kasper continues, “We rank among the fastest manufacturers and suppliers of packages in our sector, and count on digital technology and automation to maintain highly efficient production processes while delivering the best possible printed output. We therefore constantly review new print solutions that can help us maintain, and indeed improve on our high levels of customer service. We are excited by the opportunities that the two new Fujifilm digital print solutions present us in terms of offering new creative solutions, speeding up turnaround times, attracting new customers and expanding our business potential.”
Taro Aoki, Head of Digital Press Solutions, EMEA comments: “Fujifilm is fully committed to delivering industry leading and sustainable print solutions that generate the highest quality output as well as adding real value to the businesses of label printers and packaging converters. Labelprint24 is a well-known and respected supplier in these sectors and we are therefore delighted that they have chosen our print technologies as an investment in their future.”
