The International Sign Association-UK (ISA-UK), formerly known as the British Sign & Graphics Association, has announced today that it will be introducing a brand new award scheme for 2020.
With a date and venue to be confirmed in the coming weeks, the association has said the newly created ISA-UK Sign & Print Awards will take place at a central UK location in the autumn of 2020 and will be open to entries from across the sign and print industry.
David Catanach is director of ISA-UK; the British sign and graphics industry’s leading trade association. “Over the past 18 months the Association has gone through a period of significant change and growth, including establishing an exciting partnership with the International Sign Association based in the US,” explains David. “As we continue to evolve and maintain our commitment to serving the needs of our members and the wider sign and print industry, the time is right to make some major changes to our flagship event, the sign awards. And we’re looking forward to revealing more details about this bigger, bolder event very soon.”
“Any companies or individuals shortlisted in the new ISA-UK Sign & Print Awards will be at the very top of their game; delivering exceptional work,” says Rob Lambie, President of ISA-UK. “Throughout our industry we have some phenomenally talented and creative sign makers and printers who are utilising the latest technology and materials to devise outstanding schemes.”
The new award scheme will include a range of categories to allow businesses of all sizes and specialisms to take part. The entry process will be clear and straightforward to navigate, and organisers hope that companies who have never entered sign or print awards in the past will feel inspired to get involved this year.
“Being shortlisted for an ISA-UK Sign & Print Award shows that your industry’s leading trade association has recognised your work as being among the best in the business,” adds Rob Lambie. “There are few customers who will not be reassured by an accolade of this type.”
Further details regarding the new ISA-UK Sign & Print Awards will be announced in early February.
