HP today announced that Euro Image 2000 Srl has purchased a five-metre HP Scitex XP5300, a three-metre HP Scitex XP2700 and installed an HP Scitex XL1500 in March to maximise productivity without compromising upon print quality.
The company, based in Castelmella, Northern Italy, was established ten years ago and currently employs 15 people. The company already operates a six-colour HP Designjet 9000, a six-colour HP Designjet Z6100. Euro Image plans to further expand its digital capacity installing a five-meter HP Scitex XP5300 and a three-meter HP Scitex XP2700 in May.
The company specialises in the production of large format print including point of purchase (POP), banners, vehicle livery, billboards and building wraps for the indoor and outdoor signage markets. Euro Image has grown steadily over its decade in business and its customers include well-known international retail, automotive and food and beverage companies.
HP Scitex printers are ideal for the production of branded collateral and can replicate consistent corporate colours across a range of media. They use HP-developed ink to produce well-defined, highly durable, vibrant colours and to ensure the best results on a variety of substrates for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The HP Scitex XL1500, HP Scitex XP5300 and the HP Scitex XP2700 can reach speeds of 110m2/hr, 118m2/hr and 300m2/hr respectively, to maximise throughput and increase productivity ensuring that Euro Image can fulfil its clients' requests quickly.

In the ten years since its establishment the company has extended it services to handle all the production and finishing of its items in-house. The company plans to uses its printers to continue these developments, to expand into new markets and to stimulate further growth in the POP market.
"The HP Scitex XP2700 has the ability to print directly on both flexible and rigid substrates, which is vital for us to sustain our success in the POP market and to win new contracts for this work," said Chitti.
