Guandong announces its entry into the world of digital textiles

Guandong - the specialties specialist - announces its entry into the world of digital textiles.

Guandong chose Fespa 2023 as the stage to announce Giovanardi’s entry into the shareholding structure to the European market.

The Group, which celebrated its 60th anniversary last month, specialises in technical fabrics for a variety of sectors, ranging from architecture to boating, design and the world of printing.

The agreement with Giovanardi will allow Guandong to expand its offer with new lines of fabrics, accessories and services specifically developed for visual communication.

Guandong, which has gained prestige year after year, becoming the European specialist in synthetic media supports, will continue to operate independently with its commercial network, continuing its technical and technological development plan that is increasingly oriented toward a green economy and foreign markets.

The announcement was greeted with much interest by the many operators who visited the Guandong exhibition area at Fespa, which simulated a point of sale combining the needs of a POP-UP store with those of interior decoration. A few of Guandong’s exclusive solutions drew a lot of attention, including its Revita Pure Tack and Textured Dotty Satin, as well as best sellers like the new version of its ultra-clear double-sided tape Opty-clear.

Ideal for doors and windows, Textured Dotty Satin is a film made with 74% regenerated PVC, combining elegance and sustainability. Its main features are that it is quick to apply and easy to remove, which Guandong guarantees for 6 months, ensuring the absence of air bubbles and glue residues. It’s a material that supports both silkscreen and digital printing, making it a highly impactive decorative element for windows and mirrors in shops, offices and public businesses, or simply cut to create elegant and stylish privacy.

Revita Pure Tack doesn’t leave traces or residues either. This revolutionary polyester fibre media support for walls and R13-certified floor graphics, was developed by Guandong for high-quality applications. “Thanks to the exclusive Nano-Tack technology, this material allows for air release, thereby avoiding the formation of unsightly bubbles during application,” explains Daniele Faoro, Guandong’s Chief Sales & Marketing Advisor. "Furthermore, the absence of glues or primers speeds up the application process, making it easier to change the graphics on walls, doors and floors regularly."

Revita Pure Tack is made of a material that is 100% recycled from plastic bottles, and is printable with UV, Eco-solvent and, above all, Latex technologies, making the finished product 100% eco-friendly. This media support is therefore one of the products guaranteed by the GreenLife seal, the brand that certifies Guandong's commitment to making every aspect of the different stages in the production and distribution processes environmentally friendly.
