GMG will partner with Epson to show how its colour management solutions deliver accurate colour proofs for labels and packaging at Labelexpo Europe (29th September to 2nd October 2015) on the Epson booth 9A50.
GMG has developed its software to meet the complex needs of the packaging industry – shorter product cycles, increasingly complex colour and substrate combinations and cost pressures. At the show GMG will produce high colour quality packaging proofs on a wide range of materials, including transparent film, using the Epson Stylus Pro 4900 and Stylus Pro WT7900 proofing printers, and a new proofing printer to be unveiled at the show.
The range of GMG software solutions that deliver high-end proofing capability, dramatic time savings, flexibility and cost savings to the packaging industry include:
- GMG ColorProof combined with GMG OpenColor ensures complete press simulation to produce accurate inline proof verifications, including overprinting effects of spot colours, using high-end multi-colour profiles.
- GMG FlexoProof is a colour proofing and calibration application designed for the specific requirements of the packaging and label printing industry. Featuring halftone digital proofing it ensures accurate and consistent proofing output regardless of print device, colour space or substrate.
- GMG DotProof creates colour-accurate halftone proofs to contract proof quality by predicting exactly what will happen during plate exposure and what will happen on the offset printing press. Screen angles, screen ruling and dot shape are fully preserved.
