Fisher Textiles New

Fisher Textiles, the leading supplier of fabrics for digital printing, is adding two new fabrics made from REPREVE recycled yarns to its apparel fabric line for Dye Sublimation printing. REPREVE is made from a variety of waste streams, including post-consumer plastics (PET bottles) and post-industrial waste.

Awarded SGIA’s 2017 Product of the Year award for Textile – Media – Apparel, ETP 4310 Uni is a high end three-dimensional fabric for athletic uniforms, particularly jerseys and shorts. It is 100% REPREVE Polyester, weighs 12.2 oz/lin yd and is stocked at 60” wide. It contains a moisture management wicking chemical to promote comfort. ET 1600 Jersey Lite is a soft, lightweight material for athletic apparel and athleisure wear. With a four way stretch, it is 97% REPREVE Polyester, 3% Spandex, weighs 7.4 oz/lin yd and is stocked at 55” wide. It contains Sorbtek, Unifi’s moisturemanagement wicking chemical, to promote comfort.

Both styles have been certified by Unifi, the manufacturer of REPREVE, through the U Trust verification program using Fiberprint technology. Copies of this certification are available upon request. Garment hangtags, stating the garment is made with REPREVE recycled yarns are also available.
