Esko has announced that its Senior Color Product Specialist Mark Samworth will be a speaker at FTA’s Virtual Fall Conference 2020, which takes place October 5-7.

Mark’s presentation, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. ET on October 6, will discuss G7 and spectral data as part of a panel discussion titled Color Management: The Methods & The Madness. He will join a group of industry experts, thought leaders and technically-minded flexographers all speaking in Virtual Fall Conference 2020’s six technical sessions.

Melissa Plemen, Esko Senior Director of Inside Sales and Marketing, said the company was thrilled to be attending the virtual event. “FTA has put together a packed program of discussions that is particularly relevant given the challenges the industry faces today. Mark is an expert in his field, and this is a great opportunity for Esko to both speak with our colleagues across the industry and discuss the very latest innovations in color management technology,” she said.

Through more than 20 technical presentations, delegates will discover how design, prepress best practices, color management, plates and pressroom technologies collaborate to achieve the perfect vision. Esko, a developer of integrated software and hardware solutions for the global packaging, label and wide format industries, will be among the exhibitors with a virtual booth at the 10-day online event. Companies will use their virtual booth to conduct one-to-one video conferences, plus live product and equipment demonstrations using a suite of virtual platforms.

“FTA conferences are known for their technical content, roster of expert speakers and focus on important topics. All of that remains true for Virtual Fall Conference 2020,” said Joe Tuccitto, FTA’s director of education.

“On top of that, every presentation has been expanded to utilize the interactive elements of the virtual environment, with live Q&As and audience polling. Despite being online rather than in person, attendees will feel more connected than ever before.”
