A kaleidoscope of digital printing solutions for the commercial printer will be on show at Epson’s colourful stand (Stand G05) at the Print Show in Telford from 11-13 October. Visitors will be able to see a comprehensive range of digital printers for signage, textiles, décor, proofing, POS, photography, technical drawing and labels.
Creative displays will include a photographic gallery, the very latest collection from award winning fashion designer Richard Quinn and textiles and décor products designed by Birmingham City University students. These vibrant applications will bring to life the many ways commercial printers can inspire creativity, enhance quality, expand their markets and add profit to their businesses.
On display will be the SureColor SC-S80600 and SureColor SC-S60600 printers, now the top selling eco-solvent technology in its class in Western Europe. These give users the choice of 4 to 10 colours (including white and metallic) and up to 95.3sqm/hr single-pass productivity. Featuring Epson’s permanent PrecisionCore TFP printheads with variable size ink droplet technology, delivering up to 1440 x 1440 dpi output. As a result, the SureColor SC-S range can create stunning prints on a huge range of coated and uncoated substrates for indoor/outdoor signage, display graphics, posters and backlit panels, POS materials, vehicle wraps, wallpaper and photo canvases.
For the professional photography, fine art and proofing markets, Epson will show three printers from its SureColor SC-P Series – the SC-P20000, SC-P8000 and SC-P5000. Also on display will be the popular SureLab D700 compact six-colour photo production printer, offering a wide range of media and format options. Combining vibrant, high-quality colour output with reliability and cost-efficiency, this stand-alone printer is ideally suited to photo production businesses, photo shops, event photographers, minilabs and copyshops - in fact anyone who needs to print high-quality mixed sized photos on demand.
Epson’s textile printing solutions including the SureColor SC-F2000 for direct to garment and the SureColor SC-F6200 for dye sublimation, will be brought to life by the students from Birmingham City University and award winning fashion designer Richard Quinn.
Finally, label producers will also get a look in with SurePress, ColorWorks and LabelWorks products on display which cater for all areas of the print and packaging market.
“Epson has a large presence at this show and we believe we will turn heads, win hearts and change minds. We have a battery of printers, an array of applications and an army of experts on hand to help commercial printers enhance their production and develop new profitable sources of income in emerging markets,” says Phil McMullin, sales manager of Epson UK.
“We welcome The Print Show’s move to the Telford International Centre. We have strong links to the area as Telford is home to our European ink manufacturing facility.”
