Those seeking cost-, time- and quality- efficient print solutions will not be disappointed by Epson’s presence at Sign & Digital this year.
Standout skintones, vibrant natural (and unnatural!) images and the practical (wallpapers and stickers) will be on display, showing some of the specialist features of Epson’s SureColor production, such as the use of white ink and red ink.
Epson will have five printers on its stand to cover a range of the applications handled by Epson’s SureColor technology.
Signage will be well represented with three models in the SureColor S series, including at the top of the range the SureColor SC-S80600 (pictured).
Epson SureColor SC-S80600 is a ten-colour eco-solvent inkjet printer. It uses Epson’s latest generation Micro Piezo TFP print head for exceptional print quality up to 1,440 x 1,440dpi resolution. The ten colours for this printer are from the UltraChrome GS3 range allowing printers to hit up to 98% of the Pantone colour gamut from 700ml ink tanks.
The other signage printers on show are the SureColor SC-S60600 and the SureColor SC-S40600.
The photographic quality SC-P20000 is great for fine art work, photographic displays and backlit applications as well as for proofing.
The dye sublimation printer the SureColor SC-F6200 is the entry level textile and décor printer which can also be used to produce promotional products in tandem with an oven. That could include a diverse range of items like ceramics, phone cases, fobs, jewellery and even helmets and toilet seats!
Phil McMullin, sales manager, Epson UK says: “Last year we witnessed a resurgence in interest in eco solvent-based inkjet technology. This year we anticipate interest in diversification as printers seek a stand-out advantage. Epson is synonymous with quality in whatever sectors we address; that is a key USP for us. We are a name that customers trust because we manufacture the chassis, printheads and inks ourselves. It is that overall control of the process that helps guarantee results, time after time.”
