Epson announced an impressive sales performance at this year’s drupa and doubled its sales lead volumes compared to drupa 2008. Particular interest was shown in the Surecolor SC-S30600 signage large format printer, which - despite only being launched in mid March - is already the second highest selling signage printer in Q1, 2012.
The five new SureColor models launched at the show also proved popular, with Epson taking commitments for approaching 2000 units during the 14 day event. Additionally, significant forward orders for Epson’s new white-ink SurePress L-4033AW have kick started an increase in production to meet expected demand.
