Daniele Faoro is the new CEO of Guandong

Guandong has achieved exponential growth since it was founded in 2007, building a distribution network that now covers 36 countries.

Daniele Faoro is the new CEO of Guandong, an Italian company - recognised and valued across Europe - specialising in the production and distribution of materials for digital printing and visual communication, with particular focus on interior decoration and instore promotion.

Guandong has achieved exponential growth since it was founded in 2007, building a distribution network that now covers 36 countries. Today it handles 75,000 items every year, with 92% of orders processed in 36 hours, 82% of requests fulfilled in 1 hour, and just 0.2% complaints received during the first 6 months of the year.

On passing the baton to the new CEO, Guandong’s founder Edoardo Elmi, who will remain on the Board as Chairman, said: “We are an Italian company - and proud of it - that has had the courage to go beyond national borders, over time building a reputation based on consolidated knowledge, reliability, financial strength and the desire to innovate and experiment. The company is now preparing to face a new, equally challenging and stimulating path under Faoro".

Partner and board member, 45-year-old Faoro has been at Guandong for about 10 years, first as Area Manager and then Managing Director of Sales for the past 4 years. With over twenty years of experience in the world of visual communication, which he has worked in since 1994, Faoro’s ideas for the future of Guandong are clear: “Our mission is to bring manufacturers and users of visual communication solutions closer. This is why we have recently started building our Fashion Design Network, selecting experience centres and meeting spaces for communication and design operators, where they can present applications and interventions at events and conferences aimed at professionals such as architects and designers."

At the heart of Guandong's project there are people and interpersonal relationships, which the new CEO defines as the fulcrum of every success story. And with this in mind, he announced a new commitment in the area of welfare and training, aimed at increasing the company team’s involvement in the development of new ideas.
