Creative Graphic Services install 3 new HP R-series printers

Creative Graphic Services expands capabilities with new HP Latex R-series rigid printing.

Creative Graphics Services, a US Large Format graphics communications specialist, has expanded its print capabilities with the addition of a fleet of new HP Latex R series printers.

The new technology is enabling customers to enjoy high-impact graphics on virtually any rigid surface for limitless design possibilities and to fill urgent signage needs.

Today, CGS is mobilized to help equip local businesses, communities and hospitals with signage to communicate social distancing, wayfinding and public health awareness as they reopen amid the continued COVID-19 pandemic.

Applications to support the effort against COVID include rigid and flexible signage, partitions, floor decals, window decals, rigid curbside pickup signs, and storefront signage.

Strategically located on both coasts in the LA and New York City areas, CGS has expanded its HP fleet with the addition of three 98-inch wide HP Latex R2000 Plus printers supporting both rigid and flexible materials using HP Latex water-based inks including true white. It has also recently adopted a new HP Stitch printer for dye sub printing on textiles.

“CGS is able to pass on the benefits of its recent investment in new HP technologies to its customers. We can print more creatively on anything in the fastest time ever thanks to fast drying time and the ability of the HP R printers to print directly on a new range of surfaces, including mirror, glass and wood without sacrificing quality,” said Kyle Niner, head of operations at the New Jersey offices. “We’re able to print six colors plus white ink to basically any flat, rigid substrate you can imagine, providing our clients with a unique opportunity to achieve essentially limitless design possibilities.”

The HP Stitch dye sublimation printer at CGS is the sixth machine of its kind to be delivered to the US. “The higher resolution print heads create even more vibrant prints then we previously offered. Along with an increase in quality, our production time has decreased significantly for all of our fabric prints,” said Niner.

While currently impacted by the cancellation of events globally, CGS has joined the trend to provide backdrops for lawn and graduation signage as well as backdrops for virtual events and conference calls.

The new HP Latex R2000 printers use water-based ink including an innovative true glossy white, printing with no smell. The new R Series technology supports printing on rigid substrates include foamboards, corrugated board, wood, glass, and ceramic. Flexible substrates include PVC banner, self-adhesive vinyl, coated paper, polyester, and canvas.
