Covid-19 recovery sparks unprecedented AlumiGraphics uptake

Covid-19 recovery sparks unprecedented AlumiGraphics uptake.

With recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic creating an unprecedented demand for printable floorgraphics, the AlumiGraphics range has seen significant adoption by signmakers and print providers seeking a long lasting, slip resistant flooring material that can be used on a multitude of interior and exterior surfaces.

Launched by American manufacturer of wide format digital print media, FloorSignage, LLC and Lancashire based printable materials manufacturer and distributor, Soyang Europe in 2013, the aluminium foil-based substrate gained immediate recognition, receiving plaudits and awards for its ingenuity, ease of use and easy recyclability. More recently, further materials designed to be applied to challenging surfaces have been added to the range, including AlumigGraphics Smooth and EZGrip Graphics, however the original AlumiGraphics Grip product has paved the way as the ultimate material to use for graphics installed direct to outdoor walkways, pavements and forecourts.

As the Covid-19 pandemic took hold, Soyang Europe very quickly saw the substantial, upcoming requirement for creating social distancing signage – considering both interior floorgraphics and additional external space marking signage, sited outside retail stores, medical facilities and other public spaces.

“We could see the potential requirement was going to be vast,” states Soyang Europe managing director, Mark Mashiter. “With AlumiGraphics Grip proven as the most reliable mid to long term solution for external applications, we made the leap and invested heavily in order to bring significant inventory to the UK, on a planned schedule to meet demand.”

“The result of the long-term commitment that Soyang Europe has made with the AlumiGraphics range is that it has elevated itself as an industry leader,” says Micah Causey Vice President of Business Development at FloorSignage, LLC. “We’re working hand-in-hand with Soyang Europe to support printers and end users across the UK and Ireland.”

“Whilst the demand for AlumiGraphics has been unprecedented, we’re well placed to continue to supply high volumes of the material through the partnership we have with the manufacturer,” Mashiter concludes. “With its unique combination of a high grip rating, ease of application and removal, and important green credentials, we encourage signmakers to specify AlumiGraphics Grip for their most demanding installations.”
