Conference Programme and Consultancy Corner at InPrint 2019

InPrint Munich 2019: Conference Programme and Consultancy Corner inspire successful integration of print technology in production processes.

From 12 to 14 November 2019, InPrint Munich, the International Exhibition of Print Technology for Industrial Manufacturing, will present some of the most innovative technologies and approaches for successfully integrating print applications into the production of industrial and consumer goods.

Held at the Munich Trade Fair Centre, InPrint Munich allows visitors to meet some of the most progressive print technology providers and to benefit from an extensive conference programme. In the new Consultancy Corner independent experts offer visitors free and impartial advice on integration of print solutions into their specific production environments.

InPrint Munich 2019 features some 120 exhibiting companies from 15 countries, all presenting ground-breaking innovations in digital, inkjet, screen and speciality printing on diverse shapes and materials, including flat or curved plastic, wood, foil, textiles, glass, ceramics and metal. Equipment and services on display are specifically developed to facilitate the cost-efficient conversion and individualisation of industrial and consumer goods, such as automotive parts, printed electronics, packaging, drinking bottles, food containers, fashion, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics as well as the decorative finishing of flooring, tiling, interior decorations and furnishings.

“Printing technology has developed to solve rapidly changing and complex manufacturing issues, such as meeting consumer demands for better, faster and personalised products whilst lowering manufacturing costs and environmental impact. There is a constant need to adapt to market conditions, and manufacturing executives go to great lengths to gain information on new technologies and how to apply these into their existing infrastructure,” says Nicola Hamann, Managing Director at show organiser Mack Brooks Exhibitions.

From more efficient inks, printheads and software to substantial advances in metrology, curing procedures and robotics: Print technology providers have been moving towards increasingly smart and powerful printing solutions, specifically designed to enhance and even transform production processes in industrial manufacturing.

New Consultancy Area provides independent and free advice for visitors
Visitors to InPrint Munich 2019 will be able to meet some of the most progressive and committed print technology providers and see impressive live demonstrations of machines, equipment and systems on display. Together with an extensive educational programme with technical talks and presentations, and a new feature, the Consultancy Corner, InPrint Munich enables industry specialists to make better and faster business decisions when it comes to choosing the best print technology and suppliers and getting valuable ideas to move their business forward.

Marcus Timson, Co-founder of InPrint and Director of Future Print, a content platform dedicated to the development of new print tech, explains about the new Consultancy Corner at this year’s event: “Visitors attending InPrint 2019 will be able to speak with experts at the Consultancy Corner about their ideas and challenges with their industrial print projects. Consultants are an important part of the inkjet community as they provide an independent, experienced and flexible resource. An independent perspective of the landscape of industrial print is incredibly useful when you need to make the right tech choices.”

Appointments at the Consultancy corner can be booked in advance via the InPrint Munich website www.inprintmunich.com. The consultancy service is free of charge for registered visitors and consultancy bookings will be considered on a 'first-come, first-served' basis.

Technical conference with more than 60 top speakers on two event stages
Running alongside the exhibition on two special event stages, the 3-day conference programme features a broad range of topics and sessions addressing the challenges and opportunities for print technology in industrial production processes.

More than 60 international top speakers from across the entire print technology and manufacturing sector present new technical approaches and how to apply these into existing infrastructures. In case studies, technical talks and panel discussions they guide visitors through the necessary steps to successfully implement new print technology in manufacturing – from choosing the best inks, printheads and software tools to optimising machine integration and processes – addressing the pros and cons of different approaches.

Topical highlights include a series of printhead technology talks by leading manufacturers and technical sessions on: exploring the potential of integrating inkjet with robotics; various types of inks and their specific applications; ink curing technologies including UV, IR and eBeam; technology choices for printed electronics; 3D-printing for automotive and aerospace; modern metrology and process optimisation; and best practices for effective machine integration. A number of case studies provide deeper knowledge on how to successfully implement print technology in various industrial applications, including labels, packaging and security printing.

Confirmed speakers include representatives from Agfa NV, AUDI AG, BASF, Bosch GmbH, Bundesdruckerei GmbH, ColorGATE Digital Output Solutions, Cyan Tec Systems Limited, Fujifilm Dimatix Inc., Global Inkjet Systems Ltd, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, Hymmen GmbH, ImageXpert Inc, Imerys Minerals Ltd, MABI Robotic AG, NTS-Group, Profactor GmbH, relyon plasma GmbH, Seiko Instruments GmbH, The University of Sheffield, TU Dresden and many others.

Sponsored by Xaar plc and hosted by Werner Zapka, WZA-Consulting, the conference sessions take place alongside the exhibition in form of drop-in sessions and are free to all registered visitors and exhibitors, allowing easy access to interesting discussions and valuable networking opportunities.
