Océ Arizona 1280 GT flatbed printer, presented by Canon to the UK for the first time at Sign & Digital 2016

Canon will present the Océ Arizona 1280 GT flatbed printer to the UK for the first time at Sign & Digital 2016.

Released in January, the Océ Arizona 1200 series is able to print on a wide variety of media and objects, as well as creating complete mixed-media campaigns. The latest UV flatbed printers from Canon also benefit from the award winning Océ VariaDot imaging technology to produce sharp text and lines, alongside smooth gradients and solid colours. Print quality can be further enhanced for photographic and fine art applications by adding the optional light cyan and magenta inks.

Alongside the latest technologies, Canon will be showcasing its bespoke Applications Gallery, which will illustrate the possibilities of print, from backlit displays and decorative surfaces to party balloons. Demonstrations will show the artistic and imaginative capabilities delivered by Canon’s wide format printers, including the Océ ColorWave700.

Dominic Fahy, Business Group Manager, Display Graphics Systems and Imaging Supplies at Canon UK, said “This year at Sign & Digital we want to show PSPs how the ability to print onto virtually any type of material is an opportunity for them to be ambitious as they develop their business. We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand and helping businesses use the opportunities for growth presented by print.”

Canon will also be hosting Zünd Plotting Systems Ltd and will display the Zünd G3 XL3200 CV digital cutter on the stand. Visitors will be able to see the G3 in action using the new Prep Centre software and the Automatic Router bit Changer, which provides greater versatility, productivity, and efficiency in production.

Canon will be exhibiting on Stand H10 at Sign & Digital 2016 from 19-21 April, NEC Birmingham.
