ArtSystems is the exclusive UK & Ireland trade distributor for Summa and supports the nationwide reseller channel.

Nottingham-based specialist distributor, ArtSystems, has announced it will be attending The Print Show with Summa’s state-of-the-art F1612 flatbed cutter as part of a live, print finishing demonstration, including the first UK showing of ONYX 18 RIP software.

ArtSystems is the exclusive UK & Ireland trade distributor for Summa and supports the nationwide reseller channel.

Andrew Edwards, ArtSystems’ Divisional Manager for Sign & Display, explains: “We wanted to utilise the excellent opportunities The Print Show provides to demonstrate the advantages of using Summa technology to the broadest possible variety of print professionals. Visitors to the stand will discover how they can easily integrate Summa systems within their production process to upgrade their print finishing workflows.

“Summa’s smart technology – coupled with the marque’s superb build quality – minimises media waste and streamlines the finishing process. When you realise that the average amount of media waste in a print business is around 30% any process that can reduce and manage that waste, while also improving workflow, puts profit straight back into the business!”

The Summa F1612 flatbed cutter will form the centrepiece for a live print workflow solution driven by ONYX 18, the latest print management and RIP software from ONYX Graphics. The Print Show will be the first formal showing of ONYX 18 at a UK trade show.

The full range of Summa’s conventional roll-fed cutters will also be on show to demonstrate how they can support specific workflows for print-and-cut applications.

Andrew concludes: “During the show there will be a lot of emphasis on demonstrating how even small changes can have a major cost impact; enabling print professionals to expand their offerings, streamline workflow, and improve that all-important bottom line.”

The Print Show runs from 18th-20th September in Hall 9 of the NEC, Birmingham.
