Agfa Graphics has announced that its showroom in Leeds, UK, has been given a technology upgrade with the latest printing engines and software now available for demonstrations.
The completely refurbished showroom now includes two of the newest Anapurna inkjet printing systems, the Anapurna M2050i and the Anapurna M3200i RTR. The Anapurna M2050i features hybrid flatbed technology for direct-to-substrate printing onto both rigid and flexible media. The Anapurna M3200i is designed for industrial roll-to-roll UV printing up to 3.2 meters in width.
Both systems use the latest Konica Minolta 1024i print heads for stunning print quality and reach maximum speeds of 123 sq/m per hour. The combination of the small droplet size and the wide colour gamut of the Agfa UV inks allow for a thin layer for very low ink consumption. The Anapurna M2050i also comes with white ink, making it the ideal solution for printing onto coloured and transparent substrates.
“The upgrade also includes the addition of our workflow suite of software: Apogee for commercial litho customers and Asanti for the sign & display market. Visitors to our newly-redesigned showroom can also see Storefront, our web-to-print software” said Steve Collins, Inkjet Marketing & Channel Manager, Agfa Graphics UK & Ireland. “Customers can experience a complete demonstration from job creation through to final production on a wide range of substrates and applications, including textile printing, window graphics, backlit displays, novelty items and even a magnetic wall, giving them an overall feel for what is possible with this technology."
The showroom is now available to receive bookings for both commercial litho and sign & display visitors. To arrange a demonstration, visit www.agfagraphics.co.uk or send an email to steve.collins@agfa.com
